TURBRO Greenland 12,000 BTU 12V DC Inverter Rooftop RV Air Conditioner - White
True 12V DC ductless rooftop air conditioner—no inverter, no soft starter, no extra hardware.
12,000 BTU rooftop cooling with twin rotary inverter compressor.
40 dB sleep mode for quieter nights on the road.
WiFi-enabled with TURBRO app control and R32 low-GWP refrigerant.
Pure DC. Two Ways to Power.
12V DC Native Power
Directly powered by a 12V lithium battery with no inverter required. With a 480Ah battery, it delivers up to 8–10 hours in Max Cooling Mode and 17+ hours in Sleep Mode, providing reliable all-day off-grid comfort.

Solar-Direct Compatible
Pair with an 800W+ solar array and wire into your DC system. The GLD09's peak draw is 600W — size your panels above that and run all day without touching your battery reserves. True off-grid independence.

Three core systems. One smoother cooling experience.
Greenland uses a matched DC inverter system to cool faster, run quieter, and draw less power from your battery. The twin-rotary compressor, DC brushless motor, and vibration control engineered for quieter off-grid cooling.
Auto-Adjusting Inverter
20–40% Energy Savings
40 dBA Quiet Comfort
Consistent TemperatureÂ
Twin-Rotary DC Compressor: Works with an electronic expansion valve to control compressor speed and refrigerant flow. Cools faster, runs steadier, and improves efficiency by 20-40%.Â

DC Brushless Motor: Moves air smoothly with less noise and lower power draw. Helps keep cabin temperature more consistent.Â

Double Anti-Vibration Structure: Uses compressor spring mounts plus a chassis EVA pad to absorb vibration. Reduces noise at the source for quieter sleep mode cooling.Â

Ultra-Slim Design for More Space
Ultra-slim indoor unit saves space; ultra-low profile rooftop unit is 50% thinner than traditional units to reduce wind resistance; designed to fit 12-14"x14" openings; lightweightÂ

FAQs
FAQs
What's the difference between a 12V DC RV air conditioner and a standard (AC-powered) one?
A standard RV AC runs on 115V AC power — which means if you're off-grid, your battery's DC power has to go through an inverter first (losing 10–20% in conversion), and most units also need a soft starter to manage the surge on startup. The GLD09 eliminates both. It runs natively on 12V DC, drawing power straight from your battery without any conversion step. Fewer components, less energy waste, and one less thing to fail in the middle of nowhere.
What if my existing roof opening is larger than 12" × 14"?
The GLD09 is designed for a 12" × 14" opening. If you're cutting a new hole, stick to that exact size for a clean, sealed fit. If you have an existing 14" × 14" opening, no need to modify your roof — contact us and we'll ship a decorative wood trim panel to cover the gap, free of charge.Â
Can I run this AC while driving my RV?
Yes. Since it runs directly on 12V DC power, you can keep it running during transit without an inverter, provided your battery system has sufficient capacity and charging support.
How much battery capacity do I need?
We recommend a battery bank of 300 Ah or larger. Batteries with a capacity of 300 Ah and above can support operation, with larger battery capacities providing longer runtime.
For runtime estimates, we use a 480 Ah battery as a reference:
12V RVAC (Max Cooling Mode): approximately 8–10 hours of operation
Sleep Mode: estimated runtime of 17+ hours
Actual runtime will vary depending on battery capacity, ambient conditions, temperature settings, and operating mode. A smaller battery bank will result in shorter runtime, while a larger battery bank can extend operation time.
Will it fit my RV?
The Greenland 12V RV AC is designed for versatile fitment such as Class B vans, truck campers, and mini trailers. Model GLD09 needs 12-14" x 14" rooftop openings, while GLD12 needs standard 14" x 14" openings.Â
How quiet is the unit?
By combining a twin rotary inverter compressor with a dual vibration-dampening structure, this unit operates as quietly as 40 dB in sleep mode for restful nights.
Do I need ductwork?
No ducting is required. This is a non-ducted rooftop unit that blows air directly from the indoor unit. This simplified design ensures maximum airflow efficiency and a much easier installation for setups.
Can I run the wiring externally for my truck?
Yes, the casing includes pre-drilled ports for external routing. This requires opening the shell to adjust cables. We recommend professional installation or consulting our support for guidance.
